Appointments

Booking appointments

We have move to a total triage appointment booking system for GP appointments. This means that every request to see a doctor will be reviewed by one of our team to provide the best and most appropriate care for your need. The quickest and easiest way to request help is by using this form: Start Online Consultation or the NHS app.

If you can’t use this online form, please contact the surgery as normal (by phone or in person). Our reception team can complete the relevant questionnaires on the phone with you. All information is treated as confidential whether received by telephone or electronically.

Once we have your request, you may be contacted by one of our clinical or administrative teams with further advice or an appointment.

To request or book an appointment with any other health care professionals (for example nurse, healthcare assistant, pharmacist) please contact the practice as normal.

You can also book online appointments using SystmOnline by using this link: SystmOnline Login.

To get you username and password, you will need to speak to our reception team. For more information visit our Online Services page.

Pharmacy First

With Pharmacy First, you can now get treatment with prescription medication for a range of minor illnesses directly from your pharmacist without the need to visit your GP. Illnesses include:

  • impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
  • infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
  • earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
  • sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
  • sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
  • urinary tract infections (UTIs) (women aged 16 to 64 years)
  • shingles (aged 18 years and over)

If they cannot help you themselves, pharmacists will refer you to a GP or other health professional. Find your nearest pharmacy here: Find a pharmacy – NHS.

Urgent appointments

By using the total triage medical requests will be assessed by a GP and prioritised by need.

When you get in touch via the online form, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

If you can’t make it to your appointment, please let us know as soon as you can so someone else can use it. You can cancel by phone or in person.

Call 0115 950 1854. Please call after 9am if possible. If your appointment is before 9am, please call as soon as you can after 8am.

Patients who miss appointments without cancelling may not be able to book future ones.

Evening and weekend appointments

We offer evening and weekend appointments, either at this practice or another NHS practice nearby, through the Enhanced Access service.

Additional appointments are available:

Monday – Friday from 6.30 pm – 8pm

Saturday from 9am – 5pm

This is not a walk-in service. Speak with reception to book an appointment.

The service is supported by GP+ Nottingham City.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Home visits

If you can’t come to the practice because you are housebound or too sick, you can request a home visit. Call reception before 10:00.

Your doctor will decide if a visit is needed and how urgent it is. You may need to explain your condition.

You may also get a home visit from a nurse or health visitor, depending on your needs.

If you use sign language, we can arrange for a British Sign Language interpreter. We also provide interpreters for patients whose first language is not English. Ask when booking your appointment.
If you’d like a chaperone during your appointment, let your doctor or nurse know. They will be happy to help.
